First phase of integrated protection at Pancevo Oil Refinery completed

After over two years, the first phase of implementing the integrated protection system at Pancevo Oil Refinery, a part of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS). Alarm Automatika, Ltd. joined the project in the phase of creating technical solutions in compliance with the project task and corporate protection department guidelines.
The solution designed will prevent unauthorized access and terrorists attacks while maintaining traffic flow and the established behaviour protocol. The solution defines the construction, metalworking and electronic elements and their implementation. After pinpointing the compromised points of entry and analyzing traffic (number and dimensions of vehicles) conceptual solution for new traffic regulation was designed, It principally consists of integrated system of safety barriers, ramps and traffic lights easily managed by the vehicle operator, and the horizontal and vertical signalization and anti-terrorist barriers able to stop heavy-duty trucks.
Together with partner companies DBS Konsel Security Service, Termoelektro Enel a.d. and Strabag d.o.o., Alarm Automatika delivered a surveillance system,and access control system, LPR cameras and perimeter security system.
All systems of technical security are integrated through Alarm Automatikas ABSistemDCi® software and are centrally manged from the refinerys operative center.
